L’autopsie au laboratoire

Résumé

L’autopsie demandée au laboratoire est un examen complémentaire qui complète la démarche diagnostique vétérinaire. De nombreux avantages liés à la possibilité d’utiliser différentes techniques, de disposer d’un espace de réalisation dédié, de bénéficier de la présence de technicien et vétérinaire compétents en toute neutralité, permettent d’apporter des éléments au diagnostic terrain en renforçant le travail du vétérinaire traitant. Le principal frein opérationnel réside dans le transport des animaux vers la salle d’autopsie. L’autopsie est un temps fort du dialogue entre le laboratoire et le vétérinaire terrain.

Abstract

The many advantages offered by the possibility of using different techniques, of having a dedicated space in which to carry out the examination, and of benefiting from the presence of competent technicians and veterinarians in complete neutrality, all contribute to the field diagnosis, reinforcing the work of the attending veterinarian. The main obstacle is transporting the animals to the autopsy room. Autopsy is a key moment in the dialogue with the field veterinarian.
