Pharmacovigilance vétérinaire : Pratiques des vétérinaires ruraux français
Auteurs
Résumé
Veterinary pharmacovigilance enables effective monitoring of drugs once they have been placed on the market. It enables the detection of any undesirable effects that may not have been detected during the testing phase (pre-authorization phase). This system ensures the efficacy, safety and security of veterinary drugs. In France, ANSES-ANMV is the public agency in charge of veterinary drugs and pharmacovigilance. It collects and analyzes the various reports and then takes decisions concerning the drugs in question (withdrawal from the market, modification of the SPC, etc.). ANSES-ANMV mainly collects reports concerning dogs and cats, which is why we have created a questionnaire for French rural veterinarians to try and describe pharmacovigilance practices in production animals. This study is part of a veterinary thesis to be defended in October 2022 by BUREAU Alice.
