Conduite à tenir lors d’urine rouge chez un bovin

La présence d’une coloration rouge dans les urines d’un bovin se rencontre dans des pathologies d’étiologies variées. La distinction entre hématurie, hémoglobinurie, myoglobinurie et pigmenturies exogènes, constitue une étape importante pour le praticien, lui permettant d’orienter son diagnostic. Le traitement sera ensuite adapté à cette hypothèse et à l’état général de l’animal, notamment son anémie.
Abstract
Red urine in cattle occurs in diseases from various aetiologies. Making a distinction between hematuria, hemoglobinuria, myoglobinuria and exogenous pigmenturia represents an important step for the practitioner. Therapy will be adapted to the diagnosis and to the clinical status of the cattle.
